School Council Presents an Evening with Dr. Kiru Dr. Kiru is a Registered Psychotherapist, Registered Marriage and Family Therapist, and has served on the Board of Directors for the Ontario Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. She holds a Masters in Counselling and a Doctorate in Marriage and Family. She has almost 15 years experience working with individuals, couples and families. In addition to her private practice, she is a mental health consultant, public speaker and media expert for sources such as Chatelaine, the Toronto Star and the Globe and Mail. You can also find her on the panel of Discovery Channel’s National TV show, Canada’s Worst Driver. Her background in fitness and nutrition lends a holistic, energized approach to mental health.
