Homework Read 3 minutes French: Study for French test May 1 Dragons: Complete unfinished assignment. Ensure that you are supporting your answer with details. Griffins: Read up to chapter 13 and complete jot notes for Monday Nature Symposium Today is the Nature Connections Symposium. Please join us after school (starting at 4:30) to see vendors, participate in activities and learn about making connections to nature in your everyday lives. There will be food vendors selling food, so come out, have a bite to eat and enjoy this amazing activities/event. Parent/Guardian Survey All parents/guardians are invite to participate in on online survey. The survey results will be used to guide planning to support student achievement and well-being. More information will be available during the survey dates (May 1-9). I will post the link on the weebly next week. Break the Stigma On May 2nd we will be taking part in the Break the Stigma campaign. Our school will be making a video to show how we will break the stigma of mental health. A permission letter is being sent home this evening. If you give permission, your child will be a part of the video that will be used across the York Region District School Board. Please return the signed form before the filming date. Homework

Math: Sign and return math quiz Student Businesses It has come to my attention that some students in the class are ordering and selling fidget toys, for a profit, here at school. This has led to issues involving the taking of money (from bags, etc.) as well as physical interactions. Under no circumstances are student businesses to be taking place on school property or during school hours. If this continues fidget toys will not be banned from the class. Building Nature Connections Explore a variety of interactive activities and workshops that support you and your children in building nature connections in your own backyards and local urban spaces. Come and join us on Thursday April 27th from 4:30-7:30 (drop in at any time) for workshops, seminars and entertainment involving local community members. Food will be available for purchase. GOOS (Good On One Side) On Monday we will be making/designing our GOOS bins. Please bring in your materials so that your group is ready. Remind your friends to bring their items too. Homework

You will need to do research to better understand how to survive the wilds on Canada. Next, draw and write a poster instructing others on how to survive. Neatness matters!
